I just tried to check on one of my sites and it tells me my account is suspended. I don't know how that could be though.
i never got an email or a PM stating anything.

it does really annoy me that the account would be suspended without anyone saying anything to me at all.

I created a support ticket, but I've learned that those could take days to be answered, and this can bring more attention, which is what is needed. The site was fine a few hours ago.

Maybe you came very close to either your bandwidth or storage limits.
I've never experienced this myself, but I believe others have.

That is very good advice.

Just curious. How do you know whether it's a pirated script or not?

The best way to find if a script is pirated or not is to check its license included with it. If it does not include what would be considered an OSI approved license then you should investigate further.

Usually visiting Google and finding the author's website will be enough. If the script is a commercial script requiring a fee and you haven't paid the fee it is likely pirated.

Thanks. It's clearly now. Very Happy

It'd be a hard work for you to stop any attempts of using pirated scripts, as there're many users here.

Also you can check the version of the script. like invision power board 1.3 is free to use, but the newer versions such as 2.1 isn't. so you just have to study up on the scripts.

It is much harder with ad dons and script modifications which nearly anyone can create if they know how to code php, some are free, some aren't.

As long as it's a cracked script, such as a crack vBulletin or a cracked Invision Power Board, they are considered pirated.

Note that the trial version of Invision Power Board is NOT pirated. You can use it here even if you didn't pay for any licence.

I don't understand by "What's free it's free.". Some's free but they are cracked.

And just a note that you leave space between full stops.
