Hi everybody i am from Uruguay and here in my country I am a fan of Peñarol, but in England I really like Arsenal since 2003.
I think it is the team that plays the best football all over the world and have one of the best manager that exists.
And now we win 6-3 against Liverpool, it was a fantastic victory and I hope Thierry Henry, Cesc Fabregas, Freddie Ljunberg and Jens Lehmann to don't leave the club until their retirement.
I miss Ashley Cole, i think he make it bad going to Chelsea our historic rival

To be honest, with the departure of Cashley Cole and the arrival of William Gallas, I believe Arsenal got the better deal, not to mention the money gained from the transaction. There were players capable of filling the boots of Cashley, as was proved when he handed in a sicknote last season. The way he treated both the team and the supporters makes him no loss whatsoever, and indeed he has become the "boo" boy among the supporters now.

Anyway, just to touch on last evening, and the 6-3 win at Anfield. Liverpools heaviest home defeat in eighty years, and inflicted by nothing short of the youth team. We must have pride in our up and coming stars, as they seem to be more capable of performing on the big stage than many of the first choice eleven. One just wonders whether Arsene Wenger will stick with the youth policy for the semi-final against Tattenham Hotspuds, or indeed The Final itself, should we progress that far.

Actually, if I am to be honest, I watched the first fifteen minutes thinking that it would be quite a boring match with youth being the the majority of the Arsenal squad, but how wrong I was!!! The commentators kept going on about the changes in the Liverpool squad but it was Arsenal that seemed has have 'not taken the game too seriously' by fielding the youngsters, but what a gripping and exciting match it turned out to be, who would have placed a bet on Arsenal beating and more accurately knocking Liverpool out of two cups in just three days! Especially with the changes they had named, all I can say is well done Arsene Wenger on the choice of fielding that squad and still coming out smelling of roses and giving most of his first team players a well earned rest. I only wish Newcastle could do that but with the disappointment of the injuries, that is pretty much all we have played all season.

The youth squad has always been very good at Arsenal, though sadly these days most of the products are sold on before getting much of a chance at first team level, with Arsene Wenger preferring the use of foreign youngsters.

Liverpool found out to their cost exactly what these youngsters are capable of, and to be honest I see no reason why Arsene Wenger can not make a gamble every now and again with playing them in The Premiership. He barely uses a proven Theo Walcott, which is such a crying shame.

Arsenal capped off a good week in the North West of England with a fine win over Blackburn Rovers on Saturday afternoon.

Shame about the sending off of Gilberto Silva though. I was listening to a programme on Sunday morning and the presenters and guests were saying that the Referee couldn't use common sense and give both Gilberto Silva and Robbie Savage a yellow card, and award Arsenal the free-kick. Said Referee didn't really have a choice but to send off the Brazilian for retaliation (I'm NOT defending Robbie Savage, Arsenal fans Shocked I'm sure he gets up the nose of a lot of people - players, fans and Managers alike.). I can't lip read, but I am sure that the footage included Savage pleading with the Referee that it wasn't a Red Card offence - you don't see that very often.

Great free-kick by Thierry Henry lead to Kolo Toure losing his marker and heading the ball in off the post with Blackburn keeper Brad Friedel motionless, and then Thierry Henry combining with Cesc Fabregas to run almost the length of the field and Henry to smash the ball into the top right hand corner. Friedel again, unable to do much to stop the Frenchman from scoring his third goal in as many games. It's certain to be considered as a goal of the season contender.

Arsenal haven't done all that well in the North West in recent years. Looks like that's been put right though.

I think Arsenal definitely needed the win, both to keep in touch with Liverpool and to create a little bit of breathing space between them and Bolton, who dropped points against Manchester City.

The top four all play each other this weekend so it will be interesting to see how things transpire. Arsenal host Manchester United on Sunday, by which time they'll know how CSKA Fulham did at Anfield the previous day.

Next up, a rampant Manchester United at Ashburton Grove. Given that we turned them over at Old Trafford, the pressure surely has to be more on them than us to pick up the maximum pointage, although right now, if I was offered the draw, I would be quite happy to accept it. Four points from them in a season can be considered a success, in my opinion.

Going back to the Gilberto Da Silva debate, I still do not see why he was given red, unless the referee took intent into consideration. The original foul by Robbie Savage was a yellow, but the reaction was unneccesary, but still only, for me, deserved a yellow.

It would seem that Arsenal are not going to dispute the card award, and look set to face the weekend without Gilberto, which could be a major loss.

Interesting. I wonder if Arsenal have simply taken the decision not to rock the boat. Seems an odd course of action though, as Gilberto has had a pretty good season so far and might be missed.

Should be a great game and I for one will be sat in front of the TV with a beer in my hand watching it!

The problem being, that regardless of whether he made contact with Lily Savage, and regardless of whether Lily Savage made a complete drama out of a mere nothing, the point is that Gilberto retaliated, which, by the letter of the law, is a red card offence, so Arsenal probably have no leg to stand on in the first place, which is probably why there will be no appeal launched.

Yes Gilberto will be a big loss at the weekend, but often Arsenal manage to draw strength in the face of adversity against the bigger teams.

A good result to beat Manchester United at the weekend, but on the dip side, it has helped Chelsea keep the pressure on at the top. With Chelski losing to Liverpool, Alex Ferguson was looking on a win against Arsenal will give them a chance to increase their lead at the top. How I laughed!!! I know I shouldn't but anyone taking points off Manchester United and Chelski is ok in my eyes!!!

To be honest, it was a game we deserved to win, even though we were a goal down with just seven minutes on the clock. For the most part, we bossed the game, and manchester United showed little and rarely, aside from a couple of chances late into the first half. Indeed the goal they scored was more from sloppy defending than any sort of brilliance.

Both Arsenals goals were crafted from excellance, while stright off the trainin ground. A never say day approach to losing the ball in the final third, allowing a cross, the deftest of touches from Thierry Henry, straight into the path of the inrushing Robin Van Persie, who showed composure and the skill to lift the ball into the roof of the net for the equaliser. Sadly, at some point during the goal or celebration he fractured his fifth metatarsal, and will be out of action for up to three months, and possibly needs a pin through the bone to repair the damage.

Then came the sucker-punch. Deep into injury time, and a ploy used by Manchester United over the years, piling the men forward in wave after wave of attack. The cross perfection for Thierry Henry to power head the ball past Edwin Van Der Sar, and steal all three points for The Gunners.

A new Ashburton Grove crowd record attendance witnessed a thrilling climax to a game thoroughly enjoyable to the neutral, but for The Premiership in general.

Although Arsenal have little chance of making up the gap, we have given ourselves a great chance, and still at this time can not be written off as serious title contenders.

I guess that there is always a flip side to every coin, and on this occasion I would hate to speculate as to what that might be.

Next up is our under fifteens taking on Tattenham Hotspuds in The Carling Cup Semi-Final first leg. Arsene Wenger will rest as many key players as possible, but even then I believe those youngsters have the balls to pull them through, and make a date in Cardiff's Millennium Stadium for the final. Well, I hope so at least!

Although some people were calling it "Grand Slam" weekend, I would have called it "Banana Skin" weekend for both Chelsea and Manchester United. and it proved to be the case. Great result for Arsenal, eventually. Shame about Robin Van Persie damaging the fifth metatarsal bone in his foot though. It seemed such an innocuous challenge as well, as he smashed in the equaliser.

I remember that Arsenal did a similar thing against Middlesbrough in the semi-final of the same competition, in 2004 (which Middlesbrough went on to win, that year). With Tottenham having a mixed bag of results (lost at home to Newcastle, beat Cardiff at home in the F.A. Cup replay and lost away to Fulham on Saturday), how do you see this game going, SE13? Would you still expect Arsene Wenger to field the kids, knowing that Arsenal would be facing Chelsea, providing they beat their North London rivals, in the Final?

I guess Arsene Wenger might take a potential final a little more seriously, especially as the supporters scream for success, and even this poxy egg-cup counts as another notch in the roll of honour.

All set for the second leg next Wednesday at Ashburton Grove after a satisfactory two each draw at White Hart Lane. A game where Tattenham Hotspuds cruised into a two goal lead, and thought that they had done enough, and seemingly forgetting that these youngsters have the fighting power above their years. Another two goals from Julio "The Beast" Baptista taking his personal tally to six in two games. I would not be surprised if he was the first name on the team sheet come next Wednesday, and possibly for the final in Cardiff as well, should Arsenal make it that far.

Next up is a potential banana skin in The FA Cup on Saturday against Bolton Wanderers, who are something of a bogey team to us. Home advantage ought to count, but with Big Sam Allerdyce in the opposition dug-out, one can never tell.

What is it with Arsenal and Bolton? You were right saying it was a dodgy draw and it's even dodgier now! A 1-1 draw with the Trotters means a replay at the Reebok Stadium, most probably on Wednesday 7th February. Bolton are going to fancy their chances at home and, with their record against the Gunners, I don't think any Arsenal fan is going to relish the prospect of a trip up there.

Probably a game that Arsenal could do without, especially with the Champions League about to get started again.

Should have had the Sky Interactive service Fanzone on, during the game on Sunday, boys. Not only would you have had ninety minutes of hilarity, but you would also have heard the Arsenal and Bolton Wanderers fans saying that the Football Association Cup Replay between the two teams takes place on Wednesday 14th February - St. Valentine's Day. Let's hope it's not a massacre for the Gunners. Someone obviously doesn't have a sense of humour AND hates both Bolton Wanderers and Arsenal.
