Awstats is acting strange for me. So far this month it shows i've had no visitors/anything else, and for half of last month when i know for certain i have. It stopped recording on the 17th August

The subdomain is selected under Stats Select (though theres an error present at the top: [Missing language key "LP-Domain"])

Any idea why its not recording anything

Are you running low on disk space? Those stats really take up a lot of space, and there might be something in place to turn them off when it gets too low.

I recommend yGoogle Analytics. It collects all the information possible and presents it on a simple, nice and clean way. It's free for small websites. I have been using it for a few months and I'm very satisfied.

You can signup at http://www.google.com/analytics (all you need is a Google account... If you hace a Gmail address, then, you have a Google account).

Well.. hope you find my suggestion useful.

I don't like Awstats Confused

according to cpanel, i still have 133mb free space so i dont think space is the problem. Awstats is shown as using just under 5mb at the moment, but i cant find out how to clear the awstats files

Isn't Google Analytics the one where you have to put their code on every page on your website that you want to track?

Yes... I think all it does is send a GET request to Google and their servers are fast enough that your users will barely notice that you have it on your site if that is what you were concerned about.

What sort of web site these days doesn't have a template system or at very least an automated procedure for such a task. Doing a find/replace in all files replacing </body> with the google analytics code and </body> should be fine.

I'd rather not have to change since i'm used to using Awstats. Whats strange is its only 1 subdomain i've got trouble with, my main one and other subdomains are fine

We've been having trouble with Awstats since the upgrade to cPanel 11.

There is no current fix available, but we have had luck with disabling and then enabling statistics software choices via the Stats Manager.

The system was setup to rotate the logs that were already parsed so they would not take up disk space. This functionality has been disabled until Awstats is confirmed fixed.

Anything before the rotation was disabled would only have been parsed by Webalizer and the bandwidth monitoring system.
