Awstats hasn't updated since August 16th for me. I don't know what to do, say. What's up with it? Happen to anyone else?

Related to CPanel upgrade. Doesn't seem to be fixed yet. Trel mentioned that disabling and re-enabling stats may work but it didn't for me. I've been using Google
Analytics instead. |

Yeah, same happened to me. I thought it was just me, that I deleted some awstats related files in my account and it broke, but I guess not. Webalizer Stats are working just fine for me, though.

I have seen it on other cpanels, but when I was hosting here I did not see it here. They have a "Update Now" link on the cpanel awstats page. Why does LLP have the same link as the other places. Doesn't awstats come pre-bundled with this link already? Trel you should consider adding this link so we can update the information and not have to wait for a cron job to update the webstats.
Yes, I know we could also place a 3rd part tracker on our sites for up to the minute updates, but to have that link does it really put much more strain on the servers to not have that option of updating it when your users wants too. |

Awstats should update with data from September 10th - today tonight. The logs from the 1st - 9th were deleted by the system automatically as part of log rotation before the scope of the problem was fully debugged.
Webalizer and other functions such as bandwidth accounting were not affected.
I finally found the root problem after digging through at least three separate parts of cPanel.
The "Update Awstats" link is not enabled by default due to load issues that it causes when 10 or 20 people decide to update their website statistics at 6:00PM during the busiest part of the day.

We're going to have Awstats again! Yay!! Thanks Trel. Awstats is definitely my favorite stats program.

It *should* be updated now.
If any of you that hadn't had your Awstats updated due to the bug could confirm that I would appreciate it.
