Due to a recent discovery that the backup system wasn't taking weekly and monthly backups properly the data contents of the backup system have been reset on the eve of a monthly backup run.

This means that all backups before today have been deleted. Unfortunately this was necessary in order to repair databases we keep for our internal backup system.
