I'm not going to say I hate the site and the hosting, because I don't - the hosting is top notch, and it's even better because it's free.

The only problem I have with LLP is the support. I understand that LP-Trel can be busy with other stuff and everything - I know he's probably got a life - but if one person can't handle the workload of giving out support, it would be a pretty good idea to get somebody else, or even a group of other people to help out.

I know it's great to have a popular website and see your community grow continuously, but the more people that are being hosted with LLP, the more problems there are going to be, and that is the real problem when there is only one person to deal with everything.

My site was suspended 2 days ago, and with any other good hosting provider, it would've been sorted out by now - but my site is currently still down. I raised a support ticket as soon as I knew (about an hour after it was suspended) and I haven't yet got a response and the issue has not been resolved yet.

I would suggest that more people are allowed to deal with these issues...

Firstly - there are more than one persons working behind the scenes.

Secondly - Your site got suspended? This puts you at the very, very bottom of the support food chain. You will expect delays, break the rules, pay the price.

My website is suspended because apparently I didn't have enough PBPP for the last month, not because I broke the rules...

I knew you were allowed to go into a negative for one month, but I never saw any post or message that said you needed at least half of your monthly payment, which is why I wasn't too worried about not having enough - I knew I was allowed to go into the negatives for a month.

My support ticket has been answered, so I'm thankful for that, but 3 days still isn't the best...

Reading will always help you to take advantage of support options.

The FAQs on the website are here to try to help you get things accomplished as quickly as possible.

For example in this case see:

It's called reading. You probably learned how to do it in kindergarten. Wink

It's called nursery in the UK... Laughing

And I'm pretty sure I read everything there was to read before I joined and signed up for the hosting and I don't remember anything that said about having to have half of what you need...

Also, I'm sure it said something about RDP getting used to cover the rest of the cost.

I mean, I've been a bit busy, and since I got more than 400 PBPP the month before, why can't that have been used to cover the rest for last month? I had a lot of free time that month, but I started uni last month so naturally I didn't have as much free to time to spend posting on the forums...

To be honest, I think the system is a little strict. Sad

OK, I've done everything I can to get my site back up - I did everything it said in the FAQs about getting your site unsuspended...

Created another support ticket 3 days ago... still no reply. Sad

I presume all it takes is to tick a box saying that my account is active again, so may I ask what can possibly be taking the process this long...?

Fair enough, there are other support staff, but what I was really meaning is the only Trel deals with actual account problems like this - like the hands-on support to do with the server and the accounts.

This is why prefer smaller hosting providers - they don't have as many accountsor servers, hence there are less people to deal with and hence there are less problems to deal with... and hence things are done quicker. Sad

I think I remembered Trel saying that he is the only one handling the support tickets and no one else. Did I miss anything?

My two tickets about this issue have been dealt with by the user 'LP-Support', so I'm guessing there is more than one person...

Support here at Lifelesspeople isn't the fastest, but the support is very helpful.
