Well, the whole concept still doesn't make much sense to me (probably because I don't want it to), but your explanation is better than any I've ever heard. It makes sense from a certain standpoint, but I guess I can't imagine that there are sins that make it impossible to repent. I mean, most people, if put in a place where they know there are two alternatives--heaven if they repent or hell if they don't--and given the choice to repent, will probably choose to repent, even if their lives have been completely free of God.

No disrespect, but I have to disagree. I know of many people who have disbelieved in god, and gone away from all the religious things they used to have done. Every once in a while when I see them, they seem as happy as ever, and at times even happier than me. You don't necessarily need god to be happy, and being away from god won't leave you lonely and in pain.

To the topic starter, no, hell can't ever be completely filled. I see it as your soul, just floating around. There's nothing for it to do and I believe that is where true pain and loneliness is. While in heaven, your happy. You seem free, and are filled with love and everything you've ever wanted. Everything God has wanted.

When I read the words "can hell be full," I immediately thought of the movie Land of the Dead. If I remember correctly, there was a scene in which a man on the TV explained the rise of the zombies as being the result of our sins causing hell to become full. And because there was no more room in hell, the dead would walk the earth. Or at least something along those lines

Aside from that, I don't think Hell can actually become full. I believe that if Heaven and Hell are real, they are infinitely vast spaces where those who believe in Christianity go after death. Hell being a fiery expanse of eternal punishment, and Heaven an endless paradise for those good souls. But then again, I'm not a big believer in Christianity.

Yay zombies.
