I just got a new webhost, and they are using and older version of cpanel.
i know the latest version of cpanel lets you input the server path to addon and subdomains.

here is my problem.

I have one addon domain that i need a subdomain with. But Everytime i create the subdomain it puts it in the public_html folder instead of that addon domain's folder. This is a problem because I need a subdomain for my main domain of the same name (confused ha) so i can't have them both there.

is there some setting file in my cpanel account itself (that i can find via ftp) that'll allow me to edit and change the server path to that subdomains folder?

I don't think that redirecting it will work because i need the subdomain to be static.

I hope any of this makes sense.

MAINDOMAIN.com - public_html/
club.maindomain.com - public_html/club

addondomain.com - public_html/addondomain
club.addondomain.com - public_html/club ** <--- problem.

I need it to be: public_html/addondomain/club
but this older version of cpanel does not let me define the serverpath when adding domains and addons.
there must be a manual way of doing this.

I know a simple solution would be to change the subdomains, but this is a larger problem since the URLs are remembered the way they are and have tons of backlinks.
Thanks
