I'm about to cancel the domain I currently have as the main domain for everything for my hosting. The domain I want to be the main domain is currently a sub-domain. So I'm wondering if it would be possible to just delete everything and move the folder of the sub-domain to the root folder.

I realize this has to be done through a support ticket but I just want see if I can do this first.

Yes, I've had this done also. You send in a support ticket (At this point add a "Downtime" page), Trel will change it and you have to manually change where your subdomain is to /public_html/.

Backup everything...

Moving the folder is quite possible. Changing the main domain is also possible. But I doubt you could use a sub-domain as your main domain, because as said in the Knowledge Base, only ICANN domains are allowed as main domain.

Alright good...

By the way, I meant to say addon domain, not sub-domain since I have a .com domain using a folder in public_html as it's root.
