I've got an SMF forum on my L2P hosting account, and it's going through quite a lot of bandwidth. There is an option in the SMF features to compress the output using zlib. I'm just wondering, by ticking that box will it put too much load on the L2P server??

Thanks for any advice Wink

Check this link: http://www.port80software.com/.....=undefined

You'll see it is already compressed and cPanel keeps up with the actual bytes transfered so it is also keeping track of the actual data transfered after it is compressed.

Well...I guess I'll just leave the 'compress output' box unticked.

Thanks again.
