What happens when the one thing you believed in,
The one person you thought was worthy of
The last bit of trust you held onto,
Turns out to be a cold lie,
A lie so harmful to the very depths of your soul,
To the very thing that has been holding you together,
It makes you emotionless,
It makes you so numb inside that you can hardly feel the
Presence of the world around you,
You are there, but not there,
You are in your own state of mind,
Thinking of what was and if it could still be,
Not wanting to believe that lies had been told but knowing
That they had, that everything said, to the simplest word,
Was a played out plan,
Nothing could or ever would be the same between you
And the deceiver, but knowing that the strong bond you
Had still has a small connection, a thread like connection,
Small, yet unbreakable and you know that someday that
Connection will grow and you will be together once again…
