I heard an ad for this show on the radio and thought the story sounded pretty interesting since I enjoy watching CSI and other crime dramas. So I decided to try this show, since it is about a forensics analyst, who kills serial killers. I watched the first show (of the first season) for it and didn't think much of it, I thought it was kind of corny at first but I decided to watch the next show and then I started to really like and now I try watching it whenever I have time, I find it very weird and unique.

Has anyone else seen this show?

Honestly when I first saw the ads that their aired on Showtime for it at the beginning of the last season I found myself not really interested in watching it either. They had a lot of actresses and actors from other shows on Showtime talking about how great the show was going to be and I figured they were just building up another show on the network and nothing more. However, one night when I was feeling under the weather and couldn't sleep I turned on the season premiere and found myself pleasantly surprised. I wound up actually not only liking the show, but it became one of my favorite shows as well.

Having been a fan of CSI I wasn't sure what to expect and the commercials made the show seem really dark and graphic, but I was surprised at how much complexity and entertainment was involved in the show. I really thought that it had a dynamic cast of characters and really interesting story lines. All of the characters especially Dexter really entertained me and kept bringing me in. I was never really all that big on the Deb character, but I like the cast. This season started off kind of slow in my opinion and I was a bit disappointed in the first few episodes because they seemed to fall flat in comparison to the first season, but after the latest episode that was aired, I found myself reinvested in it all over again. I liked the direction that it seemed the show is starting to head in and I am more than eager to see where this season takes us to. If it was anywhere near as good as the last season, then I am sure we are in for a good and entertaining ride. It really is a great show and I was glad someone posted on this. Usually when I mention Dexter on a forum I find someone is talking about a cartoon so I was happy to see that was not the case in your post.
