Of course they never mention Linux as a minimum system requirement.

In actuality, you don't really need any of these operating systems anyway. All you need is a browser running on any of these OS's.

I never understood that either... maybe it's for the benefit of staff where the "minimum system requirements" refers to the system you need if you want support.

That is exactly it.

Many companies offer official Linux drivers, but they won't even give you support if you ask for the download location. That is fine with me though. We're a self sufficient bunch.

A lot of routers come with a CD that changes windows settings and automatically starts (or even configures) the router control panel.

However, if you know how to ise a browser and change network settings, you can just do it yourself on any Operating System.
