the stupid thing is that glandular fever is spread by plenty of other means, and kissing is not the most common.
And there are plenty of other diseases that it is easier to get from kissing, and there is not as much controvery over it. _________________ For Metal and Rock interviews and reviews, go to www.heavymetalnation.com - You can Contribute too if you want!

hehe - i knew someone would pick up on it when i referred to it as being "bad". i didn't mean in it's severity, yeah, Glandular Fever is a serious illness when it takes hold - i meant that in US tv shows, movies etc, Mono seems to be dubbed as some sort of shameful, dirty disease. That's the part i don't understand. |
Glandular fever is also known as 'the kissing disease'.
This is the shameful part. As you should know being a good Catholic and all, SEX IS WRONG!!! |
I said i was catholic, when did i say i was a GOOD catholic?
but, yeah kids, sex is bad mmmkay?
better?
seriously - come to think of it, i don't think i actually know anyone who has ever had glandular fever. Maybe it's more prolific in warmer climates. Or where there are more skanks and less GOOD catholic girls! |

funny - we've been talking about this, and now the scottish government is to reduce the price of a prescription in stages, until april 2011, when it will be free. By april next year it will already be reduced by £1.85, taking it down to £5 per prescription.
It's already free in wales, how long til England follows suit? |
