| Wonder if LLP requirement of PBPP posting takes alot of your time ? Many other free hosting sites are getting free hosting without posts. And am not quite sure why are there so many ppl here attracted to LLP, care to share? Many thanks. |

Doesn't take that much of my time, but i do have a habit of being on here a lot. I think the reason why people are attracted to here is because of the community, if you have problems with anything, then normally there's some one here who can help _________________ Midnight Tempest - A Sailor Moon TCG

400 PBPP a month does not take much of my time. You should be prepared to devote an amount of time every month, though.
I never felt being forced to post here in order to earn the required points. Sometimes it is difficult to find the interesting topics though, but you can simply solve this by starting a topic of your own. _________________ Captain Jell-O Buster from the Future

When I didn't have a full time job, I used to be here quite a lot. In the last half a year I've been struggling though. Mainly that's because I put most of my point earning to the last minute (Also, the forbidding to sell Neopoints didn't help. I used to be able to afford my hosting by exchanging VSP for NP, the good old days).
Sometimes some interesting topics get opened, and then it's much easy to earn points. Some heated religion-related debates in Our Oratory are always helpful for your PBPP total, too. _________________ Tarakana NET |

It takes a lot of time if you don't speak English very well or if you don't have people in the same group to help with point.
Many people is attracted because LP is a serious company and offer a high quality service. It has been in business for about 6 years. _________________ http://martin.com.uy

Why?
Free hosting services that does not require you to post normally offer simple hosting, and for some, include advertisements in your site which you cannot remove.
There are a lot of free hosting services which DO require posting, and some only require you to post a little.
That sounds very nice, but they lack two things which we have.
Firstly, the reputation. Free hosting services come and go as they like. You normally don't get a sense of security with them. They may be here this moment and gone the next moment, taking your site away with them, offering no backup.
Secondly, the community. Which free hosting services have such an active community like us? Ten? I can't guarantee that. Such an active community might be found in a chat forum, but definitely not in free hosts' forums. And more activity means more posts, which means more points (PBPP) for us.
Unless you are a rich guy facing your computer everyday, you can't possibly be very active here every month. Even students get their homework and exams, and each year gets tougher and tougher. It's understood we have lives (though we are at LifelessPeople ), and if you can't make it due to some reasons, talk to the community, talk to Trel who is in charge. People who don't have hosting can offer to affiliate with you (find out more about this in the Knowledge Base), and Trel who is known to be very nice on the PBPP (points that we use to pay for the hosting). _________________ Jacky

Every plan that you get, you need to accumulate at least half of the required amount of PBPP. So if it requires 400 PBPP, you only need to accumulate 200 PBPP so as not to get suspended. _________________ Jacky

| I see, so the minimum requirement is 200PBPP instead of 400 PBPP, but this was never stated in the Knowledge Base at http://lifelesspeople.com/foru.....&k=61. Also, I noticed some people with negative PBPP, wonder why ? It really confuse me. |

| If you get 200 points (threshold for non-suspension), you will have -200 points, and you have to make up for it next month, e.g. by getting 600 points to get back to level. |

it is possible, as for the last plan you need 4000 pbpp a month a believe, so if someone only got half of it, they would have -2000 pbpp. And it adds up so if you miss more than one month the total gets bigger _________________ Midnight Tempest - A Sailor Moon TCG

I wish I could do that. But unfortunately I have to spend much much more time to get the same points as you do, maybe 10 or more times.

My answer is yes. I used to spend hours everyday just browsing the forum purportless, because I didn't know what kind of topic is easy and right for me to reply. And I did make a lot of mistakes, , but that is also funny.
I want say, if you are ready to join the community and be a part of it, you can get the points you need to get a host, or just for fun. It takes your time, but it is worthy.
A little sad to see there are not much interesting topics to read and reply, but that could not be the excuse for my laziness.
Let's form the habit of posting. |
