Do you ever download movie and watch them on your pc? Or would you rather get/rent the dvd and watch it on your dvd player?
Or possible you could have a really good computer and home entertainment center with your computer hooked up to your tv, so then you can download movies adn watch them on your tv.
Which are you?
I hate watching movies on my pc. I download some, but i hate sitting in this chair to watch them. I'd much rather get the dvd and lay in my bed or sit in my chair and have them play on my big tv.
Netflix lets you download movies, or have them sent to you in the mail. Does anyone do that? Or use any other similar service?
I don't like to rent movies from movie renting places like blockbuster or moviegallery. i'd much rather just buy the dvd, but when i just wanna check out the movie i rent it from the renting places and go home and watch it.
But i barely download any. What about you guys? _________________ http://www.damnidunno.com | http://www.snapcite.com |

I have downloaded a movie a time or two and waited to watch it on my computer although in my case I found that by the time it took to actually download the movie that I got tired of waiting for the download. A lot of the time I might just say forget it and move on to something else because I have other things that I should be doing instead of waiting for a movie to download. There have been a couple of times when I have downloaded something in the past although not recently. It was kind of awkward having to sit around the computer and watch it, but fortunately at that time my computer was in my bedroom, so I kind of pushed the chair aside and relaxed while I put the movie on full screen. It is a nice option for those who like to watch full screen full movies at their computer, but it really is not my thing.
I have a television in the same room with me, so I am able to work on the computer and keep an eye on the television as well if there is something worth watching on television. I think for me it is easier for me to just kick back and relax to watching a DVD instead of watching a movie online, but I do know a lot of people do it. I have heard of a few people doing downloadable movies on their computers, but for the most part the friends I have who are members of the video membership places online will simply rent at Blockbuster or something like that and have the DVDs sent to them. I think for a lot of people it is just easier that way. |

You can easily watch downloaded movies on your DVD player, most DVD players are able to play .avi files. Just burn the .avi on the disk and put it in you DVD player
Or you can easily connect your computer (is easier with a laptop though) with your tv with a cable that costs around €20. You don't necessarily need a really good computer and a home entertainment center to watch downloaded movies
Usually I buy my movies though, I like to have a real collection with nice cases instead of a bunch of burned DVD's. _________________ .// Proud to be Lifeless for more then 4 years \\. |

I rarely watch proper movies, but when I do they're either ones I've downloaded tho the laptop or the ones on the cable's movie channel. I do not ever buy or rent DVD's. Burn them, sometimes, but never buy them. It's a waste of money, time and space. _________________ Tarakana NET |

I don't think I could ever get into downloading movies. Perhaps if I had a laptop and could watch somewhere comfortable, but I'd get antsy sitting in my computer chair for a full length film, and burning it to a dvd is not an option with my current computer.
I prefer to buy movies if I know I'll love them enough to re-watch, or rent a movie otherwise. My dad signed us up for Netflix, but I don't really pay attention to what's on our movie queue. When a new movie shows up it's like a nice little surprise (assuming it's something I want to watch) and beyond that I don't care. |

I do download movies last time but I thought its a waste of time - need to rip and burn it and the quality of some movies sucks.
While you can purchase or rent a DVD to watch at home, there's nothing beating watching a movie in the cinema, with a superb sound system and comfy seats. All you need is to switch off your mobile phone and you are all alone there, its just you and the characters in the movie. There are no other disturbances.
At times, I do rent DVDs during occasion when am holding parties, where friends come over to my place for gatherings. Its a good time waster. |
