i just bought a microsoft wireless laser mouse mouse 5000, and it has alot of buttons on it which should be helpful for some of the games that I play.

such as the wheel on it. You can move it for ways, and in my game it'll allow you to lean to the sides to look over walls and such. So the side ways movement on the mouse wheel would be perfect for this. however when i use the ingame key mapping controls it doesnt detect it very wheel. i don't know why, maybe its not sensitive enough? I'm unsure, but i know on my desktop they work just fine.

So i figure i can bind the controls myself in the ini file. All i need to know is the actual name of the bottons? the only thing i could get to show up in the game is "mouse wheel u" and then i think there is a d. But im unsure.

is there a way or some kind of manual online that will tell me the name of all of these keys so i could easily put them in the ini file? I googled for a manual or something, but couldn't find anything. My mouse didn't come with any text that told me the name of the keys, so im lost there.

i was hoping that in the control panel under devices it'd bring up the test screen as it does with the game controllers, but it never did. that would at least tell me the button names which would be helpful.

Does anyone know of a software that will tell me the names but the buttons? it'd be mighty helpful.
Or maybe someone here has the same mouse. its a Microsoft laser mouse 5000.

thanks :d
