What do you all think of the beta 3 of firefox 3 so far?
download:

I think its kinda cool. the default theme is a little better, but still a little dull or whatever. Nice if you like the cleanness but not much of a change,
The coolest feature i like so far is the location bar, how it has the auto complete and suggestions. It's really nice and works really well.
here is more info on the location bar:

over all i don't really see that many new features. But again i've only been using it for about an hour, so im sure i'll reply to this topic later on with more info.
Also it has new icons, so if you're into that
oh yeah, the session restore option is a pretty good thing to have finally built into firefox without the need of them extensions.
I really hope that they have more features in the final version. Something to make it really stand out. and also a nice sleek default theme. I prefer IE's theme over firefox anyday, but luckily with firefox you can add other themes.
Only thing i do not like about it so far is the lack of roboform support, but i suppose this is roboform's fault for not creating a working toolbar/extension for firefox 3 yet, so yea thats not really a strike against firefox. But it makes it unusable as a default browser for now.
So it's a good start, but needs more work and polish before the final release.
Here is a in depth look at alot of the new features so far:

and again you can download it here:

There's a LOT of bugs. Personally I've found it uses an awful lot of system resources. I tested it as I'm usually an Opera user and found that I can't open near as many tabs with FireFox without my high spec laptop running slow. I've never had this problem with Opera.
Admittedly there are some lovely new features, all minor but handy indeed. The new skin is also very nice and user friendly.
Its better for me than any other version in my opinion but Firefox is still too hard on resources in my opinion. _________________ [img:2b23f8c1d9]http://i15.tinypic.com/6fq09pl.jpg[/img:2b23f8c1d9] |

| I try to avoid betas, cause am afraid of getting BSOD or hangs in the middle of some serious works. |

Beta 4 seems like an improvement to me. Its sorted an issue I was having with opening tabs. Hmmm..... _________________ [img:2b23f8c1d9]http://i15.tinypic.com/6fq09pl.jpg[/img:2b23f8c1d9] |
