When I go to start menu and then the games shortcut on the right it opens the window and shows the games. When I double click on a game though nothing happens. How can I fix this? I'm on Vista Home Premium. Maybe it will help if someone shows me the value of the registry keys under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\GAMEUX.

if you have problems with it you might want to contact microsoft if you have a legit version
(if you don't... ah well)
don't think anyone here is going to give you registry key values though

I have a crap load of values in there... which is pretty funny considering I only have the default games (chess, hearts, minesweeper...) installed on my computer.

As long as the value's aren't computer specific, I could give you some I guess... unless there are reasons that I shouldn't that I don't know about.

And not to hi-jack this topic, but I uninstalled a lot of stuff that came pre-installed on my computer (such as yahoo messenger, wild tangent, google desktop) and yet they still have values stored in my registry... would it be advisable to delete those or leave them alone?

my 2cents if you don't know what it'll do when you remove it, it's best not to remove/temper with it Smile
also it's not like those registries take up alot of disk space Smile

The registry keys just tell where to find resources. I'm going to try reregistering the dll and see if that works.

I registered gameux.dll and it didn't help and yes I did restart in case you are wondering. However, when I try to register gameuxmig.dll I get that the dll was loaded but the entry-point DllRegisterServer was not found. Oh and Microsoft says they charge for support.
