Harold and Kumar: Go to Amsterdam - This time their running form the joint
The first one was absolutely BRILLIANT! Endless laughter, cant wait for this one!!
Follows the cross-country adventures of the pot-smoking duo as they try to outrun authorities who suspect them of being terrorists when they try to sneak a bong on board their flight to Amsterdam.

| any idea on a release date for the states? trailer said 2008 but just wondering if anyone knows something more specific. the first one was great |

| I just saw the trailer for this one the other day when I went and saw another movie and I have to admit it does look pretty funny. When I had first heard of the original film I kind of just rolled my eyes and figured it was one worth skipping, but when I was bored one day and took the time to watch it on television, I found that it was actually a really funny movie that was worth taking a look at if you like just useless humor made to make you laugh and be amused with no major plots going on. It was a light, but funny film and the second one looks like it will be equally comical and fun to watch. |

I'm almost ashamed of saying this, but I'm really excited for this movie. Maybe I'm still a fratboy at heart, but I love these type of snarky movies.
Snarky movies are so much better than smashups (Not Another Teen Movie, Another Sports Movie, Scary Movie, etc). |

I loved the first movie  it's one of the funniest movies I've ever seen I didn't know they were making a sequel, but I'm definately going to watch it. Anyone knows a release date?

And how do you know the new one won't be funny? Has it been released yet?

The teaser trailer is not funny and seeing as the first was bad, I see this going the same way IMO. |

You can't argue about taste I guess  I haven't seen the trailer for the second movie yet though, I don't like trailers because they never give a realistic view of the movie.
And unlike you, I really loved the first movie, as does everyone I know That's why I was so surprised reading that you don't like it, as I said: you can't argue about taste

IMO, The first Harold and Kumar was really hilarious to me, I laughed non-stop through out the entire movie, and I've seen it more than a couple of times.
I'm really pumped to see the new one, it's suppose to be coming out sometime around April of 2008, according to Wikipedia.
I found a really awesome promo poster featuring Neil Patrick Harris on a horse with the words "What Would NPH Do?" above him.
