Has anybody played the game Gionado Espanda?

The game is "Granado Espada," also known as Sword of the New World in North America.

In theory, it is a very good game, especially with the whole multiple-character control and ridiculous micromanagement systems. The music is amazing as well.

In execution (like most Asian-made online multiplayer games), it's just another grindfest. All of the pros of the game get overwhelmingly outweighed by this con. All you do, for the most part, is level up; there's really not much else to do in that game, except for dueling other families, maybe? People go AFK-leveling in that game while they do something else on or off the computer. Yes, that's right, people level up in that game by using the ingame auto-attack/patrol feature, then proceed to do something else. You play the game by not playing it at all, if you know what I mean.

I would recommend you try the game, but it's nothing worth buying and paying a subscription fee for, unless you're playing the Japanese version.

Thank you for correcting me, i heard that its grafics are very good and decided to try it out, to my dismay, that download file size was 3.5gb, which would take me very long to download so i decided to get some comments before downloading that game.

I just checked this game out because I was interested by the title. I doubt I will ever play or even download it, but I have to say it does look pretty sweet.

Like Lyth said, most of these Asian-made MMORPGs are just constant grinding and gold farming. I should know, I play Silkroad, which is not that much different in execution from this game, basically just a different theme. There seems to be a much more expansive content-base in this game though. The graphics are also pretty decent for a game of this nature. And like all Asian MMORPGs expect lots of hackers, bug abusers and AFK macroing.

Looks like a nice MMORPG and it's free to play (according to the site) so maybe I'll try it out some day. I won't download it right now because the game is 3.6GB (like newnone said) and my monthly bandwith limit won't last till the end of the month if I download files that big.

Too bad I don't speak japanese then I'm not sure that the game will become pay to play though, I've searched the site for it but it doesn't say anywhere if it will remain free or not.

The name is in spanish. In english would mean "Grenade Sword", yes, it's also weird in spanish.

A few friends from another forum play it, I almost joined them, but had too much studies so didn't. For what I heard it's nice. Still by watching the screens I'd preffer any other mmorpg.
