Hello friends

I just registered with lifelesspeople.com and posting for the first time.

I am from india and was looking for a cool place to start a web site and landedup here, thanks to google.

This idea of pay by post appealed to me and have decided to stick with this place.

I am a novice in this web world, and may not be able to contribute much by way of contents like 'codes' etc. but i am confident that i will be able to make enough pbpps or whatever by interaction, since i am good at community building.

My humble suggestion (request rather) is to open a seperate area/forum for interaction, where all members can have a thread of their own in their name.

The first post in that thread can be a small self introduction by the thread owner.

So any member visiting that thread can post his messsage there and it will go on to build a relationship among the visitors.

When i start such a thread it will be my home in this forumand all those who posted are my visitors.

I shall go to my thread first check all the post reply to them. i ll go visit their thread too and interaction continues.

Trust me i have seen this idea work, i have seen online friends becoming real life friends and have become real life community....

How does the idea appeals to you all?

Yes, the dump is the place for small talk here (and for any other post which cannot fit into any other forum. Don't get the wrong impression from the name of the forum Smile There are some threads there worth reading.
The only thing is that you won't get PBPP for posting there.

Avoid the use of Internet shorthands here. It's a rule. Wink

And trust me, this idea won't work.

At another forum, I saw many new posts in the Introduction forum, new posts for threads which are one week old.

And guess what was the reply?

"Welcome!".

It annoyed me a lot because all the replies are just something like "Welcome!".

And not many people are interested in opening such threads. The forum will end up with no activities.

Currently in The Dump we are almost having a party. You will feel quite happy posting in there. Very Happy
