I may be wrong, but i was under the impression that out pbpp points were going to be deducted at the start of each month.

Is this going to happen? I just don't want to see it go back to the points being deducted half way through a month etc again.

thanks

Take it easy.. we are in the second day of the month. It usually takes 5 days. Don't worry: on 6 July I'm here deleting this post and asking when are they going to be deducted Laughing

I thought Trel said it'd be on time for no on? maybe i misread something.

I think this is tricky. Since the points didn't get deducted til the middle of last month, that means that people only had half a month or less to come up with their points for this month. So if they were to be deducted on time (the 1st) then it wouldn't have been very fair.

I don't know how this is going to get back to the normal. Trel Might have to give everyone a free month and then start the next month on time. i dunno.

I guessed he must have set up a cron job to make sure it happens. But I guessed wrong, apparently.

Not that I have a problem with it, but it's not really nice. With a regular pattern, everyone knows when the points are deducted. It's done when it's done, and there will be a whole new month.

Anyway, Trel, push the button! Smile

Well, he really promised it would be on time this time, but well, I can remember even in the past (when nobody complained about it) usually it also was deducted a few days after the start of the month.

So I guess there's nothing to worry about.

What button? There is no button in Lifelesspeople.com. That is merely a western lie.

There were some issues with removing many of the old 0 post accounts that needed to be resolved before the update could be run. It has now been run and should be on time bearing in mind any technical issues such as this one that might delay it.

I see that by now the points have been deducted (as evidenced by my yet-again-in-minus status). I should really be more active...

Being late by few days does not matter. That's how it used to be.

It was deducted on the first day of June.

May's deduction was done on 18th of May.

I thought that even though I don't have webhosting here, some of my points would be converted to VSP... (?) I still have all my PBPP's.

i believe you have to have a minimum of points before they are converted, i don't know what the minimum is, i believe its the minimum needed to gain access to the minimum hosting plan, then anything over that is converted, just not the minimum

Only PBPP in excess of 3000 PBPP is converted to VSP

When the deduction/convertion is done, you are left with an amount of PBPP that is enough to access the highest plan. This amount of PBPP changes over time as the plan changes. It used to be 1500 PBPP, but now it's 3000 PBPP.

So if you have 3500 PBPP, 3000 PBPP stays. 500 PBPP gets converted.
