|
|
Hello people, I have an urgent question i want to ask you, I have applyed for hosting at LLP and I believe that LLP does not allow warez and mp3 hosting.
So my question is, even though I am not allowed to host those files, there should be no problem if I link to other websites that host them, right? |

Urgent? You're at a free host, so you will have to make compromises, especially with timeliness.
Anyway, I doubt it is allowed, at best, it is a grey area that you might get away with based on the focus of your site. |

I don't think there should be a problem, but to make sure you probably should clear it up with LP-Trel, the guy who runs this site. _________________ Tarakana NET |

It's definitely a grey area. I don't think it's something you will get sued for, but it might be very well possible that LLP doesn't want to get into grey areas and therefore deny you hosting for such a site. _________________ Captain Jell-O Buster from the Future

Yeah...I thought around those lines myself, I know it's a gray area but there doesn't seem any reason why it shouldn't be allowed.
But just as you said, Lp-Trel's the one who decides so I sent him a pm about this. |

Yup, it's just like a pornography site having pornographic images hosted elsewhere.
It's still the same thing.
But luckily it's not the same for videos. You are allowed to display videos hosted elsewhere (the videos need to comply with the TOS too), like on YouTube. _________________ Jacky |
