How About An Anime/Comics Forum ?

Well ive seen lots of post to get free hosting websites that have an Anime/Comics (manga) forum and it is really useful since i am sure 25 % of this website know what it is about.

I agree, we should put a few new forums in to represent a changing community.

A domain appraisal/laws/questions/general discussion forum would be nice too.

The categories we have now are good, but I feel we are losing a lot of attention in some areas that should be addressed.

Yeah, I think it might liven things up a bit but the bad thing would be if there isn't enough post on the subforum and then it would just sit there taking up space. I think the safest thing to do right now is to just see if there's enough support for it. Obviously we can't do anything much but I think that there sh.ould just be a TV/Movie section, which would inclue Amine and rename the Books section Books/Comics.

I like the idea even though I'm not a total freak about anime, I have seen some series so I would have another place to post in.

And otherwise, for the moment, you still can post anything about anime and comics in the Hip Hideaway forum I guess.

We will definitely be reworking the categories and such as the weeks go on. The community has changed and I believe it is time for a few minor website updates.

I would prefer a new forum to be created only when posts related to it are being made often.

For example if you suggest an anime/comic forum, I would prefer it if there are a lot of posts about them, which makes a forum necessary for it.

Otherwise I think it would just go to the Local Bistro forum.

Some of the forums are quite dead, like the Authors' Auditorium.

A comics forum would be nice. It's been a few years since I haunted my local comic shop for the latest X-Men, but I still read 2000AD and buy graphic novels.

I don't think there's enough of a demand for an anime/comics forum. Right now, anime topics would fit just fine in Hip Hideaway, but there hasn't been an anime topic for like a year in there. Even then all it got was responses like: "Yeah, I saw an anime once."

Keep in mind, I'm not saying this because I'm against anime or anything, quite the contrary I've wasted a great deal of my life watching anime (having seen over 2600 episodes of various anime). It just does not seem as though community has a whole has an interest in the subject.
