I have to admit that I post here so as to keep my hosting alive, but I am sure I am not the only one.

But posting here doesn't seems to be in the least a suffering for me. In fact, I find that I can voice my comments on a lot of things, and I feel satisfied when I get rewarded for what I comment.

When the new school term begins, homework will start to pile again. It's the holidays now, and I really enjoy it, so I can be at LifelessPeople when I'm bored.

Speaking of that, I would always click my LifelessPeople bookmark when I feel bored and would like to do some earning of PBPP.

Even with school, homework, my job etc. I still get plenty of free time, most of which is spent listening to music or going out with my friends. So whilst I'm at home listening to music, I just browse the internet when I'm bored quite often and pop on LLP for a while to check new posts etc. Of course I rarely post outside of The Dump though...

I come on this site a lot but I seem to be having trouble in getting the points I need because I am finding that more and more that I can't find as many topics or really any that I am interested in.

My dedication to LLP increases as the month draws to an end, and I think this is the case with many people.

Most of my points, though, come from one or two large posts in threads that inerest me, and the rest are made form posts like this one - a bit of information in a thread that I probably won't check back in on.

I just come when there is nothing else to do really. It's not really a priority and i don't have much free time since i work so dang much, and i'd rather do other things than come to websites and stuff. But i manage to check the forum several times a day. It's really the only forum i goto now so i just come to talk about random stuff.
I don't know really.

I don't have hosting here at the current time so there is no need to get points.
Even when i had hosting it wasn't that had to come and post some and leave and everything.
It never was hard to get points or anything, just come and talk and not worry about the points. If you worry about them it'll seem over complicated and stress you out. Just actually talk and you'll end up with way more points than you need.

That's quite true.

The other time I told myself to get 10 more PBPP to get 400 PBPP.

In the end I still posted more than I expected.

To post is not a big deal, but to post what is. That is how to make the post meaningful and interesting enough. And, I can't do it successfully every time.

Yea, as you can see, I am struggling.

I post more frequently during the end of the month, but that for me is not just about the points. I try to come around and comment on topics that are of interest to me and get involved in certain conversations that are going on. There are a lot of really great conversations during some months and then during others there are some slow conversations as there are with any forum. This is a really good forum though because we have such a big variety of people, so there is always something to chat about. I often stop by to see if there is something new to talk about just because when I am cruising around on the internet. The bulk of my posting is probably near the month because between school, work and everything else I get caught up in that, but I will stop by regularly to lurk on some topics just because it is interesting to do.

Me too, especially as there are less and less interesting topics lately, and it seems the activity has really decreased a lot over the years.

Exactly, lately I'm having more and more problems to earn enough points to keep my hosting.

I have toagree, it's like that for me too. At the end of the month I'm trying to post enough to earn enough points, and that's really hard because of the lack of activity and my lack of time. After the end of the month, I'm tired of LLP for like at least 1 to 2 weeks, and I start posting again to get enough points. It's especially tiring me since there's just not enough interesting topics, making it really hard to earn the points.

I can always find the time to post, it doesn't take long and I there aren't any days where I don't have 5 minutes of free time to make a post Smile

Recently I've been slacking off at posting though, usually I notice around the 20th of the month that I still need more than 100 PBPP so I start posting like mad to get my monthly requirement (which is only 200 PBPP fortunately).

I'm afraid that one of these months I won't reach my required posts, luckily I've got some reserves of RDP for when that happens Smile

I find that the earlier I get my needed PBPP, the more lazy I become.

How so?

Supposing I get all 400 PBPP on the 15th of the month, I would then stay away and have the mindset that I already have the PBPP ready and I don't need to worry.

And this mindset will keep staying in my mind until the end of next month, which then I rush to get at least half of 400 (200 PBPP) so that I don't get suspended.

I just come and post when I can. I keep pretty busy offline, so while I do come to post and keep my posting alive, I do like posting here and will often get way over what I need for the month.

Does anybody really use the VSP? I noticed the market place has died down quite a bit in the last few months. I just don't have any use for it Silly RDP for the win (vacationing and holidays in December spell disaster for my quota!)

I find posting to be easy usually. I don't see why people struggle with getting points each month.

Instead of complaining that there is "nothing interesting to post in", you should just make a topic that interests you. You have hobbies and interests, so talk about them in a new topic. This is a simple concept, that everyone should be able to understand.

I work a lot, usually leave home at 7:30AM and get back at around 9PM. So not much time to do stuff online really. Mostly when I'm online I go to the sites that feed my fanfic-reading interests.

Every now and then I'd go to LLP though, click the "View posts since last visit" link and see what new and interesting posts had been made, then post some replies. I do tend to visit more toward the end of the month. I strive to always get the points in time, but it doesn't always work out that way. Haven't been suspended yet, though, so it's all good.

I don't use lifelesspeople for my hosting needs anymore, but I enjoyed the site back when I did, so I like to pop in now and again to see what threads are open.
