How I Met Your Mother

The third season resumed airing this past week, and the next new episode will be this Monday. Anybody else watch this show? I used to not watch it until a few months ago when I happened to catch an episode.

The main cast are all pretty well known actors too: There's that chick from Buffy the Vampire Slayer and American Pie, one of the guys from Freaks and Geeks, Neil Patrick Harris and Bob Saget. Except for the main character, he hasn't really had any notable roles.

Yeah, I watched the first few shows, but then hockey training started, which clashed with it, so I haven't been able to watch it much since.

However, I reckon it's pretty good. Not the best show I've seen, but definitely still enjoyable enough to watch and to have a good time.

I still try to catch it when I can. Which is still not very often Silly

I didn't see it last night, but I heard Britney Spears was awesome on it. I actually have the link, so I am gonna watch it right now.

I didn't think Britney did a very good job acting, but I did think it was pretty funny how they made it seem like she was the girl Ted was going to go after but then he went after Eliot from Scrubs. And then Britney thought Ted was coming on to her, but he was just using her to get to Eliot. One of my friends actually said it was the funniest show on TV, even though it was the first episode he'd ever seen.

Ya, I agree. Britney was so hyped up and her role was actually so small. I didn't even like how she was played off as this super spacey character. I guess it's a good start if she wants to do television, but she wasn't very believable in my opinion. The show is alright, but I think the cast makes it funny.

Bob must be new in the show, becuase I don't recall him being in any of the episodes screened in Australia (I've watched them all).

Me and my wife are huge buffy fans, so we watch anything with Allison Hanigan in it (we watch any show with any ex-Buffy star). Luckily, none of them have been terrible, but this show is actually quite excellent.

Considering the fact that the device they use, ie the eventual revelation of the mother of his future children via anecdotes; could be extremely annoying, they have done a very good job to keep it interesting.

Bob Saget is in pretty much every episode. He does the narration (ie- Ted after he's married and telling his kids how he met their mother). He's uncredited though.

I never recognized Bob Saget's voice! Crazy! I think Britney is returning for another episode, but I don't know when...soon I think?
