Sorry if I'm taking up space on this forum but I really want to know who PPBP is calculated. Is it on a per character basis of how much you type, or does it also take into account whether you're posting on an unpopular thread or starting a new topic.

Of all the times I started a new topic, I felt that I was getting more points for writing about the same amoutn of stuff than I getting from just posting replies. I don't know if that's just a stupid idea. Oh and by the way this is not a ruse to get more PPBP, I really really want to know.

as far as i know its only by how many characters you type, i think there's a minimum per post which i believe is 1, or so it seems from shorter posts

It is calculated via a mix of characters and other metrics to come up to the total. The largest part of the total will come from the number of characters though.

In the past it's quite easy to calculate or estimate how much PBPP (yes it's PBPP, not PPBP Wink) you can earn.

In the past you earn 1 PBPP for each line you enter in the Quick Reply. So 2 PBPP for 2 lines.

Since it's a little bit adjusted now, it might not be like the past.

I'm also not sure how PBPP are calculated, but I actually have that same feeling, posting a new topic seems to give a lot more PBPP.
