Almost everyone new here has a lot of questions to ask. Even after he has read posts in Hosting FAQs , we still can find many questions like "Is it reliable?" "Will it last long?" post in Pre-Signup Questions. To have these questions are normally. Smile I have posted many by myself too.

Maybe we members here should make a list of our hosting stories in L2P, so when the new comer pay a visit here in L2P, they will get more detail informations about this free hosting.

I don't mean that Hosting FAQs is not itemized enough, but just a accessory to that.

To me, I just have hosted here for only two months. Every thing is good, all my question posts are answered well and soon, my website hosted here is running normally. And I have not met one downtime. My hosting experience in here is not long enough to tell much, but I think there are many members who have more to say.

And how do you think my proposal? Can you tell us more your story Question

We understand.
I have had hosting here since January and am willing to host demos and progress of work for my clients who are paying for a near professional service, that should give you an indication of the reliability.
Anyways, there is a link to 3rd party site uptime statistics somewhere in the new visitor information centre or the sub/domain services information forum where you can see the 99%+ uptime stats.

I've got my hosting for about one year now and it is working very well. It has undergone quite a few changes (in disk size, traffic, etc.) but has always met what I expected. Yes, there were a few downtimes, but nothing overly long and nothing my webspace at my internet provider (which doesn't offer features like PHP, mySQL and is only 10MB large) didn't encounter once in a while as well.

Sure there have been months where posting was difficult (as I'm no natural English speaker) and I wasn't too eager to post, but I always got my points and tried to contribute to the community in a good way. Overall I'm happy and that's why I keep posting and keep hosting Wink

I was hosted here for a while, then my friend started a hosting company and I switched over to his. Confused

His company was very unstable and constantly exceeding bandwidth limits, DNS was constantly screwed up, etc. Sad

After a few months, I switched back. I am right back on L2P going strong. Smile

My site uptime has never been higher and I am never leaving this place.

Trel will always have the most stable webhost, and that's a guarantee. Cool

Ken, maybe you did not know what happened before you registered.

There were many suggestions like yours. Send PM on User Registration MOD suggestion failed. This MOD basically send a PM whenever a new member registered.

I have also suggested Force Topic Read (which Trel gave me his word to install it, but never Silly ). This would force every member to read a certain topic before he could post.

I have hosting for almost the same period as KRT (I registered before him), but I wasn't as active then. I only got 200 PBPP before going to sign up. If I was active then, getting 200 PBPP for my hosting per month won't be a problem.

I was suspended from March-April. I post like mad in April, and got my first 2000 over PBPP ever in just a month. After I was very active, as you can see now, just that now I am concentrating on my site. Wink
