I recently made a new layout for this webpage and I hope people could tell me what they think of it.

The layout uses iframes so please tell me if you can't see the content.

It's a fansite and there are some sections that are not online yet because I'm still renovating them.

But do tell me what you think.

Anyways. The layout is ok. The graphics look good, but I have a problem. The frames are small, and really annoying to scroll through. I would suggest dropping the left frame and just running a static or so sidebar. And make the middle frame bigger. Also, the scanlines hurt my eyes, so that is a problem. It is ok other then that. I am on Damn Small Linux with Firefox, so it might all just be on my end...

Also that copyright wellington boots or whatever at the top looks out of place. good concept though.

one more thing, the copyright 2000 makes it seem as though the layout is very old and not new at all.

Nice layout and color scheme. But yeah, I'll second M0ose: Those iframes are way too small, it's annoying. I didn't even bother to read your content because I don't want to scroll every half-second to read through everything. I'll be honest -- this is not how you're supposed to use frames, that's for sure. I personally feel there's no need for them to be used in your layout. I think it'll look a lot better without frames at all, but that's just my opinion. If any, make those iframes longer so we don't have to scroll that much. Otherwise, I don't have any other criticism.

in my experience I've found to never use iframes or frames for that matter. You end up with alot of problems, so i guess you should start by fixing that problem. Other than that, not too bad of a site.

The frames are supposed to resize and not scroll. Are you all using firefox because it works fine on IE 5 and 6.

I don't know what's wrong.

Yep, iframes too small, header too big. I think you should either lose the iframes altogether and make the page scroll down naturally, or make the header smaller; about 5 times smaller. Or better do both. As for the design, it isn't bad at all.
