Hey,

This is my website hosting my chat program. The website is pretty much completed, I just wanted a few opinions on the site!

The whole idea of the website is to promote and for users to download the chat program A-Talk.

The website seems pretty dull to be honest, especially with that white background. Also try changing the font to something else. The whole layout and all seems very simple and organized but as I said, try thinking of a new colour scheme because it seems really bland and boring.

If you insist on not using graphics for some reason, at least make the layout and colour scheme visually appealing with CSS and make a header image, even if it is just text in the image (preferably a nice custom font), it will look better than an enlarged simple font. A nice tabbed or other navigation with some hover effects would also be nice. Also, the whitespace between each grey region is a bit too thick. These will help give a good first impression, as when I and probably many others see something that isn't really interesting (not necessarily bad), it doesn't say to us "Go further".

I like the overall layout, but not the white background behind it
The green on the grey background for the server address doesn't look good. If you want to keep it as green, maybe make the green darker, or change the colour completely. If your not going to put the address, you might as wee take it out

Also, think about getting it validated.
At the moment there's 4 errors on the index page, that should be easily fixed

If you do decide to do that, make sure you do it for every page. When i did that on mine, i found i had much more traffic than before

The Website Layouts Dull It Shows You Dont Have Exprince With Web Images And Banners.
The Dull Grey Agianst The White Its Ok But You Seriously Need Some Kind Of Colour On Your Web Page.

I very much like it. It works. It all lines up good, it runs fast, and is very smooth. It doesn't burn my eyes with color and is easy to read (except the green server address).

Despite what others think, I like it.

Keep up the good work, and I can't wait to be able to use it. Though, I dunno how good it will work on Linux; I hope to be back on Windows soon. Silly

I agree with the others, the layout is too simple and boring. A layout can be without images and not look as dull, with a bit of CSS and a color picker. Even a nice banner that'll provide some splash of color will make a big improvement.

Agree with the above. It was pretty bland and dull, although it is organized, and I like that you kept it simple. Adding a few graphics, maybe even just a banner, would improve it greatly. All it really needs is color, something that will attract someone to use it.

add a banner, i bet it'll look much better then, you need some more colour than just the greys. They good buy their not really eye catching

you know you could add a screen shot area where you show what the program can do. Give actual images of its features etc
