I have changed my buddyhut.com up a lot as in I got rid of my old script and revolved everything around phpbb. PhpBB has a lot of great mods for the type of site I am trying to get up and running, that is why I chose it. I have added ezPortal, MPS mod, and the Blog mod. I have also added a Flash Chat, great script. It over all is supposed to be a myspace type website. I have never created my own template for phpBB before so i'm still working on trying to get it to look nice, it is very simple but that is how I wanted it. It is currently a work in progress haha, but if anyone has any ideas or suggestions that might help me out it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

It's a bit plain to me. The colors aren't that great, especially the link hover color, which makes the link hard to read.
The top banner doesn't match with the background of the rest of the header.
I'm thinking, it might be better if you go with lighter colors, as you can get away with using a simpler design like you have.
But, I suppose you aren't close to done yet, and are working on things like this right now. Good job though. It looks like, script-wise, everything is integrated with each other, the way it's suppose to be. _________________ [img:9084b0fb7c]http://www.glop.org/starforce/boycott-starforce-mario-userbar.jpg[/img:9084b0fb7c]

Yea i've been meaning to work on that stuff, except the colors i like them but i'll consider changing them. I agree with the link hover color though that will be changed but i've been too busy the past few days to work on it. And I was pretty much going for plain and simple so I dont mind that. But thanks for your input _________________ [img:0e7fb8ac65]http://img352.imageshack.us/img352/972/bellatrixsigfm5.jpg[/img:0e7fb8ac65] |

| Colors are fine as long as you like them. What I would suggest is that for your header image for that gradient effect you use more blueish kind of color on top not black. Also where it says Links there is no image showing. |

I think the colors are alright. It may be a little dark for what you are trying to do with the site. A clean white might suggest the "buddy" thing you are going with. The black just doesn't seem right or fit the content.
The gradient at the top and the logo (with the gradient) is actually slightly different in tones. It actually looks really different on some monitors (and color settings). I suggest you use the exact color codes and compression rates to match the gradient better.
I think the scroll bar should match the gradient more at the top. I also believe the hover link color should match the gradient as well. It seems a bit too dark, and some monitors I am guessing wouldn't even be able to read it while they are hovered. _________________ The Gamer's Journal | Online Portfolio | Tanooki Rebirth | UNDATA |

So what is it for? What is its purpose? Not only can't I tell from the main page, I can't even tell from the other pages. As for the colors, the onmouseover color for the links are not really readable, I'd think it's better to stick with the light blue for those as well. Maybe you can add some color to the headers/titles so you have some distinction. _________________ [img:0a108d93e8]http://img338.imageshack.us/img338/9430/packagedeliverer54hy.gif[/img:0a108d93e8] |

Hmm, It now gives a 'domain for sale' page, and that's kind of ironic, 'cause the thing I noticed right away and was going to comment about, was the fact that it's such a good domain name! Really, it's an awesome domain name, short and meaningful and with a potential for different kinds of websites, from community to personal to corporate. I hope you at least sold it and not just let it be expired and grabbed... _________________ Tarakana NET |
