Hello fellow l2p members. Decided to stop by to see what people think of my website: ROL. I've already made a few topics in this forum before, but I don't see them anymore so it's about time to get some more explosure from the L2P forum

site - http://www.rol-comic.com

It's a comic site. Not much else I can say about it. Tell me if it's confusing in any way...the layout I mean. But you can comment on the comic itself if you'd like.

Okay, sorry for the double-post, but it has been a month since I made this topic and I find it odd that I am not getting feedback. If there's a problem with the layout/content/etc, I would love to know what it is. I wish to improve my abilities as a webmaster and would like to hear some changes I should be making.

In terms of layout, it looks very nice. There are no problems when viewed in Opera 9, as far as I can tell. The colours you use seems a little monotonic, and I would suggest you add a little blue or purple tinge to parts of the page, both to liven it up and to blend the top banner in more. That's just what I personally think though.

The text that appears below the comic image is slightly hard to read. It could be because the background is too dark; there isn't enough contrast between background and foreground text. It could also be simply because the font size is too big (yeah, it does look better if I adjust it to be smaller).

In case you haven't noticed, the Google ad at the bottom is centred for the whole page, rather than centred for the main panel to the right. It's not really a big deal, but it looked a little skewed to the left when I first saw it, since the rest of the body text is centred relative to the right panel only.

By the way, I think it would be a good idea to upload zip files for each chapter of the comic. It makes life easier for people on a slow connection.

Overall the site is very good though, nice effort!

Thank you for your comments! I added .zip and .tar.gz archive files so that people, such as yourself, could download the entire comic and just read it with IrfanView of GwenView or something along those lines.

As for the difficult to read text...I haven't heard any complaints about that from my regular readers, so I don't think it's too much of a problem. Perhaps you should lighten your moniter screen?

And finally, I realize that the Yahoo! add is centered for the entire page. I did that because of some problems with compatibility on IE. This way it shows properly on every browser, Opera, Firefox, K-Meleon, and IE. I'm not sure how it looks on any other browser but most use a similiar rendering so I should be pretty safe ^_^

This looks amazing! I love the layout, the navigation is great, quick navigation is good too! You seem to have put alot of work into this, and its paid off well as well. They all have the same layouts, same colours (the pages by the way) Very nicely done pictures as well, they look wicked. Did you do them all yourself? You have been making these comics for ages! Really good Smile

The comics themselves are really good, what i'm not fond on is the grey background, then the sudden blue/red on the header, it makes it look out of place
