Hurricane Rita Problems || Asgard Downtime

Hello everyone,

First of all I would like to say that L2P has had a lifespan of 5 years through which much has happened. We have traded servers around at many providers over the years but, all in all I would say that Aesir and Asgard are at solid datacentres.

Unfortunately Hurricane Rita knocked down a single power pole and it took crews with Entergy a full two days to get out here to replace it. I don't know if I should attribute it to bad management or general incompetence but, I do know it turned out to be a problem.

Asgard went down sometime around 12:00PM (GMT -6) on September 25th. The server came back up sometime around 12:00AM (GMT -6) on September 26th.

Various problems have been reported on both servers and I am working as quickly as possible to attempt to ferret out the would be abusers. Several automated daemons are scanning for unusual activity as this is being posted so bear with any problems until this is complete. ETA is 5 hours from now.
