**This post contains spoilers**
I recently watched this movie and it was pretty good and interesting. Although I think they could have developed it a bit more, for example more of the events which lead up to him being the last one alive in New York and maybe what happens at the end.
What really confused me though is how these monsters were supposed to be really dumb but some how manage to conjure up one of his traps which seem pretty complex.
Also, I don't understand why they can't just go into the shadows, I mean there is plenty of shadows on the streets with the tall buildings, I don't see why they can't walk around in the shadow of a building. _________________ Tutorial Management Script - Version 1.3 Released

i'm not reading your post because i don't wanna have the movie spoiled for me, but i really do want to see this movie. the previews and everything look very good and i've heard it was a very good movie.
Can't wait but like every other movie that i want to see, I have to wait for them to get released on dvd. Oh well, the way things are going it'll be around 3 months before its released on dvd ha. _________________ http://www.damnidunno.com |

| I have not seen the movie, but it does look pretty good. The previews that they air on television make it look like a really chilling film in it's own way. We almost went and saw this one over the past weekend, but instead we saw National Treasure 2 and that was a really good movie. I would recommend that one to anyone who wants to go out and see a film right now. Though I will say I Am Legend is probably next on my list of films to see. I always enjoy Will Smith's acting. He's a pretty talented actor. |

I am Legend looks like a decent movie. However, I might wait until DVD as I don't like going to the theaters much. _________________ http://strategywiki.org/wiki/Main_Page

It looks like a great movie, but I'm not going to get too high expectations for this movie, as it usually leads to disappointment . I'm going to wait until this movie is released on DVD and then I'll go rent it, that's cheaper than going to the theaters + it doesn't involve the risk of buying a movie you don't like _________________ .// Proud to be Lifeless for more then 4 years \\. |

| well if you want to know what the movie is about, might wanna just watch the 1971 movie with Charlton Heston called The Omega Man. Pretty much I Am Legend is a remake of this movie with a different title. I guess 26 years is long enough to remake a movie and hope people will not remember this. I am sure you have probably seen this on cable TV at some point. |

I just got done watching this movie and i must say that it is really good. Kept me in suspense the entire time. One thing that i like about this movie is that it can actually happen someday. Most horrors or dramas or whatever you'd label this movie as wouldn't ever actually happen so they are lame in my opinion and don't interest me much, but this movie was amazing.
I don't understand though why the guy didn't get army tanks and everything and drive those around whenever he wanted. I mean he had the entire island to himself and i'm sure they had something there that he could have used to more prepare and protect himself. I don't know. Maybe that would've make it a bit too unrealistic. i think i'd use all of that type of stuff if i was in the situation.
Movie is really good! Go see it! _________________ http://www.damnidunno.com |

I haven't seen The Omega Man, but I've been told that it focuses it on Nevelle (Will Smith's character, I don't know how to spell it) just trying to survive, whereas I Am Legend focuses on Nevelle trying to find a cure.

The monsters weren't supposed to be dumb. If anyone was supposed to be dumb in the movie it's Nevelle for thinking that the monsters have lost all human qualities, because they quite clearly do human feelings and thoughts. _________________

Well I wouldn't exactly consider it smart that they use their heads to smash things (for example the glass at the end) to get what they want.
Also, I don't see how they couldn't have watched him go to his house. I mean they were able to watch him go to the music store (where he had manikins set up) and take one of them away. So how could they not see where he goes at the end of every day. _________________ Tutorial Management Script - Version 1.3 Released

i think they followed his scent or something, which is why when he goes home he dumps the water or whatever out to cover it up.
He never did that at the movie place. _________________ http://www.damnidunno.com |

They've got some pretty tough skulls, though. I bet they can do more damage by headbutting than by just punching or kicking.
As for following him, perhaps they didn't really care. Assuming humans are not their only prey, if they can find someting else to eat easily, they'll go after that rather than going through the whole tedious process of stalking a human and finding a way into his home. _________________

Well it would be more trouble to watch what he does on a daily basis (to find that he goes to the music store and talks to the manikins then taking one and setting it up for a trap) than to just see where he goes at the end of the day. _________________ Tutorial Management Script - Version 1.3 Released
