I will get a HTTP 403 when I clicked some link:
Referring URL: http://www.lifelesspeople.com/.....m.php?f=30
Visitor IP address: 203.218.55.*
Requested URL: /forum/index.php
Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; zh-TW; rv:1.8.1.1) Gecko/20061204 Firefox/2.0.0.1
Status Code: 403
Sometime I will got this message when I click some forum link (but reloading my be okay). And the CSS failed to load many time today. Does it related to my IP or the Firefox extension I using?
(Sometime I will get this kind of access denied message in DNS Stuff, and they mention this is fault of the pre-fetch feature of fasterfox) _________________ Sleepless Cat‧The one looking for her path... |

If you use software that places many requests to the server at a time then you may exceed a maximum allowed in a timeframe (1 second) and the server will block additional requests.
It is a failsafe to prevent someone from overloading the system. _________________ * Knowledge Base * Wiki * Forum FAQs * |

The overloading function malfunctions most of the time. I have to wait nearly a full minute before I can do any search on the website after logging in. I obviously haven't done any search prior to logging in, of course. I'm not sure why it gives me an errors that say something like "your previous search was too soon to conduct a new one". _________________ LiVinG iN a DemOcraTicalLy eleCtEd CoMmunIsT stAtE |

Sometimes I try to post too soo after another one according to the forum
It really didn't take long to make the next post, especially because I only open interesting topics (in tabs).
Does anyone know how long that limit is? _________________ My new site

All are put in place to prevent overloads and they do an excellent job. _________________ * Knowledge Base * Wiki * Forum FAQs * |

I think there should a warning for fasterfox user that not to pre-fetch lifeless people or use too much pipeline (especially you own a high-speed network...this occur when I upgrade my boardbanc).
By the way, if an ip got many 403, will server be more strict to this ip? _________________ Sleepless Cat‧The one looking for her path... |
