The more I want to improve my website, the more I get confused.

My problem is the time that I could spend. The fact is that I have to do all the jobs by myself, the posting and the site managing. If I just leave the site as it is, this is not a problem, but I think it might be the time to improve my website. I have hosted it in the LLP for two years and eight months, but now I don't know if I still could do more further post for hosting. I might hit the wall.

This is not the first time that I want to quite. The reason I am still here is that the great hosting here, I have been telling myself this is the best free hosting that I could find on the internet. Yeah, it is.

I have a forum running on my website too, but the time I spend in it is not even the half I spend in the llp forum. I thought that it is not a big deal to post less in my forum, but to maintain the precious offering is much more important. If not ,there would be no my forum at all.

My forum crew and companies are keeping asking me why they can't post pictures, and why the website is so boring, no pictures no videos. It is not fun to explain what is the bandwidth, again and again, and how many bandwidth the website has for every month. When I ask them to join me posting, the answer is always Sorry. I understand they are saying the truth. Few is good at English. It would be definitely a disaster for the llp forum if they are here.

Now the time comes for me to think about changing the free hosting. Maybe other free hosting with Ads could fit me more. I against Ads, but now I have to bear that.

Anyone has idea how to stop the hosting here and transfer the site contents to somewhere else? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

PS.
I like llp forum and I will come back and post, but not as often as I did.

LLP is the best free webhost you can find. However, I agree that getting the points can take a lot of time.

If you want to spend this time maintaining your website you will have to switch to paid hosting. You can try to make money of your website (be creative, ads are not the only option) or lobby for a cheap/free deal with a hosting company.

Would they prefer your website be taken down then spend a little bit of time to make a couple of posts on LLP each month? Besides, posting on an English speaking forum may be a good way for them to improve their English...

I think the coming up with posts would be tons easier if the boards were more occupied. Sometimes its hard to find topics to reply to.

Back when I used to use LLP, the hosting was better than most paid hosting. I only come here now to give back to a community that helped me out before.

I don't think that I am ready for a paid hosting. My website is a nonprofit one, so, free hosting is still my option. To make money from that, yeah, I like this part, but I have no idea how to make it. I leave it for the next step when I get more time on it.

'Hello. Good morning. Good afternoon. Good evening. Bye bye.'

You know, when you find that is what the English means to them. Embarassed Are you still expecting for the posting thing? Confused

I would like that kind of feeling. Just post for fun, not like a job you have to finish before the dead line. Laughing

And it is not only hard to reply, to start a new topic is a nightmare sometimes too. Evil or Very Mad

Replying is not very difficult. We just need a lot of topics. But with few active people this doesn't always work very well and topics tend to die a bit easier.

Lol, yeah. I can make a long Vista post and get 45 points. Smile Still, mind admitting your os sucks a little, even if it's only admitting it sucks because dev people don't support it 100 fold, I do. Silly That's the only reason I left the topic, because as this threads title says, it's like hitting a wall. At a point, it's like your talking to a wall. That tends to happen a bit here. You talk and talk, but a lot of the time, it's like you're talking and it doesn't matter, no one wants to hear your voice, be it for whatever reason. That's what I find hard. There's posts to post in, but it's not fun to try and hold a discussion when the person you talk to just says the same redundant stuff over and over again and doesn't seen any error to what is being produced.
