something similar to Blogger with the tags, search etc but not using their coding. Is it difficult to create such a site? I've decent knowledge of Dreamweaver but I don't know if its too big a task to take on given my lack of free time.
Any advice/help? _________________ [img:2b23f8c1d9]http://i15.tinypic.com/6fq09pl.jpg[/img:2b23f8c1d9] |

| Use something like WordPress of Textpattern, they are fairly easy to setup on a web host (usually just a matter of downloading files for the script, uploading them to the web host and navigating to the install page which takes you through some reasonably easy steps). WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) editing makes adding content simple and doesn't even require any development or need for software such as Dreamweaver. The only thing that might be useful for is changing the look of the site but there are plenty of free and great themes available. |

I did two blog templates. One for Cafe Montevideo (http://cafemontevideo.com) and the other for my personal site Martin.com.uy (http://martin.com.uy). Both were based on other temes: the first one in Dot Dot Dot and the other in Big Blue. It's very easy to create templates for Wordpress because the code is separated from the design. All you have of php conding in the HTML are the functions that generate the information. There are many tutorials and information in the official site http://wordpress.org and in Google. _________________ http://martin.com.uy
