I'm just wondering is there some thing new with the system here? It just seems that some forum threads have locked a month old post.. while other threads don't have the same scenario. or is it that there are lesser posters this previous month ago?
and the points? something regarding about the points and hosting? are there any changes? I have been for indefinite weeks and I am not able to check in here every once in a while a few months ago. And i think im kindda lost here... _________________ Im just a "Fresh-Starter"... You don't need to be harsh on me, really... and I got no religion |

Well, fear no more! Threads older than September 1st, 2007 have been locked in all common forums.
If you want to continue an old topic, start a new thread. If you want to re-hash an ages old topic, do it! If you want to ask a question that may have been asked before, but isn't on the first page... ask away!
Now, of course, all things have their limits. If a new thread is created, and you create a duplicate thread, it will promptly be deleted. Same old rules.
Enjoy!
(P.S. - Not ALL threads before September 1st have been locked. If you look deep enough, you can find unlocked threads. I highly suggest you do not look for these threads, or you will face the wrath of the mods). |
I am not aware of any changes regarding points, however. |

there are a lot of changes ragarding participation though.
seems every time I come online, usually about 24 hours after the last time, there is very little activity.

The other time, in June, the PBPP points are made easier to achieve now. _________________ 3.141592653589793238462643383279502884197169399375105820974944592307816406286208998628034825342

Which in turn makes it really hard to collect enough points every month. _________________ My new site

Thanks for those informations... it just struck me that before i where relocated, i remember some of those old forum threads are open. What i meant about point system, is how are the points managed so far...? I've lost track of when would my site close down due to i am little bit short of points. _________________ Im just a "Fresh-Starter"... What do you mean? Points will be deducted at the beginning of the month as always. You know how many you need by going to your hosting panel... Trel made the point earning a bit easier, 2 months ago, I think, which might explain the latest forum inactivity. _________________ Tarakana NET |

As long as you achieved at least half of the required PBPP, your site won't be suspended, but you will still enter negative PBPP. _________________ 3.141592653589793238462643383279502884197169399375105820974944592307816406286208998628034825342

But the second month in a row you don't have enough points you do get suspended. _________________ My new site

But the second month in a row you don't have enough points you do get suspended. | If you only get half of the required for the first month, you will need to post double in the second month, to firstly get out of negative, and secondly to get at least half again.
You only get suspended when the system finds that you don't have half of the required. It doesn't care whether you are in the negative before or not.
And when you are suspended two months in a row, you then get terminated. _________________ 3.141592653589793238462643383279502884197169399375105820974944592307816406286208998628034825342

Yup, very unfortunately so. I'm definitely heading into suspension land this month Guess I better get my posting into shape before I lose my account... _________________ Tarakana NET |
