Hello, I've been having mixed opinions and results of some of the new transitions/effects i've been using on my page.

http://vaughnroyko.info

Since I was using lightbox on my site already (which uses the script.aculo.us framework) I decided to borrow some other effects that would match my transitions a little more. I added a "Blinddown" effect on all my pages before onload. Basically I made a work around which will query the effect before all the images/text loads to make it almost instant. However, supposedly it is looking "glitchy" to some. What is your toughts?

The first time I viewed your page, it lagged a small amount in trace spots. But after that, it didn't lag at all. However, it does look odd when everything gets shifted to the left after the effect is (nearly) done because the scrollbar is appearing. You may want to do something to make the scrollbar always there.

Also, I think it would look better if you had the opposite effect, the footer scrolls up, when you click links so that the transition is a bit more streamlined.
