Current Version: 6.3.3 (Up to Date)

ImageMagick info
: http://www.imagemagick.org/

*NOTE: I have trust in all users here that they will not leak out their password and zip file.

For use with: Any host that doesn't have ImageMagick installed (or their ImageMagick is out of date). Their server is recommended to have an 32-bit LINUX operating system.

Price: Only 50 VSP

To Purchase: First send me a PM to make sure i'm here (not on vacation), if I am, i'm sorry, you'll just need to wait until I get back. Then, when I reply, you send me the 50 VSP and I'll send you the download links to each binary (packaged individually for convenience) and the passwords to extract the individual files. I recommend you extract them with WinRAR or an equivalent program.

Support Offered: In this topic

Refunds: No, all purchases made are final. Though I will offer support to help you get ImageMagick working.

Custom Builds: (See under the advanced users sections to see what is built into these binaries) Depends on the complexity of what you want built into your own customized ImageMagick (Probably ranging from at least 100 VSP to......)

Includes Binaries of:
animate, compare, composite, conjure, convert, display, identify, import, mogrify, montage, stream

Example usage:
You want to use Gallery (http://gallery.menalto.com/), but your host either doesn't have ImageMagick or is using an older version. You download the binaries Gallery needs (they are provided in ZIP format, you must extract them). Then, lets say you are using CPANEL. You would upload them into your root folder (not public_html). I always make a folder in the root called imagemagick. Then in the gallery settings, you would type for the path to ImageMagick convert binary as "/home/<cpanelusername>/imagemagick/convert", replacing <cpanelusername> with your real CPANEL username. And you do the same if gallery requests another binary. Upload it into the imagemagick folder, then set the path to the binary in the options described as above except replacing convert with the binary's name.

If you have any questions for me before purchasing, feel free to post below.

Now for the Advanced Users:

Since I cannot edit my post:
[img:ec1fc3f40f]http://codex.gallery2.org/Image:G2_imagik_1.JPG[/img:ec1fc3f40f]

Basically you would make it say /home/<cpanelusername>/imagemagick if you followed my example.

Also, I forgot to include in my example, after uploading, you need to change the permissions of the file to "755" in your FTP client.

Make sure you use the "Test" button to test the binaries, if something goes wrong, paste the output of the error box here, so I can help you. If you need help installing ImageMagick with another piece of software, post here and I'll see if I can help.

This doesn't work on all servers, if you compiled it for linux, it won't even work on the Lifelesspeople servers. (They run FreeBSD)

Next to that, most users needing this can do it theirselves, and compile one with their specific needs.

They would work if the kernel is compiled with support for linux applications. But who would do that anyway?
That beats the point of having BSD Silly

Not everyone has access to a build environment on linux.

And here, read this: http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_.....uxemu.html

Who says its enabled?
I know if I'd had a server running FreeBSD I would just disable it.
Less modules loaded means more free ram.

Do they provide static binaries for linux? Nope. Static binaries are able to run in practically any linux environment without any dependencies because they are built into the binary.
