Apparently not. Smile
I think we should just gather up the suggestions, then have the Content Development Team do a sample of the suggestions given.

Because I think at the moment the whole website needs to be re-designed, so providing the HTML does not make sense, because that's only used if we want to correct a certain page of errors, etc. Wink

The CDT was recently disbanded in favor of more open community efforts. Smile

Trel, do you like my idea of reorganizing the current layout? I think it is quite obvious that the current layout lacks organization on all accounts.

If this appeals to you, I will make a full preview for your review. If it doesn't, I won't waste my time. Smile

I'm always open to improvements. The current layout could use some sprucing up after all these years so lets see what you've got. Smile

PURELY cosmetic and of no value other than to humor me and give non-monetary incentive for people to keep posting...

Add more titles for posting levels. Raise the bar. Frustrate people.

I know its something meaningless and minuscule, but you would be surprised as to how many people will become more active in the community, realizing how far they are from the "upper echelon" of forum titles.

Its a little like elitism. Everyone wants to be elite.

The forum layout is okay, but the cpanel layout encounter some problem....
1. Links are too messy
2. Not enough information. If the link can have some tooltip that describe this purpose, it helps a lot
(I still remember how many time I spend for learning how to use the cpanel...)
3. Some links are outdated, they are not working properly or not the page that they suppose to be.
4. The white background is not wide enough so when page has a line get overflowed, it is very difficult to read. This is very serious problem when I viewing the site error log and the latest visitor...
5. The default cpanel page should change a little bit. Show LP logo and provide some useful link for those missing their way or don't know their account get terminated.
The suspended page also should change as well.

Will it be a good idea to have a redesign project?

I know this is really old, but I just happened to come across it for the first time and I waned to just say one thing: I think the News page on the website could use improvement. Maybe make it look even more like a blog type of thing. Dates would be nice.

How about just adding more stuff to the pages somehow? The website has 6 actual pages, and most of them are pretty empty. I never ever look at the actual websitte ebcause there's nothing worth looking at. Maybe giving those pages more of a purpose will just make the website seem better. I dunno, just a thought.

I was actually the person the made the script that took forum news feed and displayed it there. That was something I had implemented into the original script, but Trel had me take it out. I'm not sure if it was something he flatout didn't want or if it was the style I used.

Something has to be done about the support button on the header. The domain it goes to is now a parked page.

The about button could be redirect to a locked forum post/ or KB article that tells people about lifelesspeople.com.

Same with the links button. It could be made into a forum post and then locked redirecting the person to it. (or a KB post with the links in it).

It would be better if the news button just redirect people to a N&A search over-view. Using "LP-Trel" as the person to find. Forum as N&A and Search previous to 6 months and instead of topics do it as posts. This way people can see the last 6 months of news and get a brief description of each one.

The root address lifelesspeople.com to me at least seems to have to much white space and not enough real information. Ha, just noticed it is saying that is getting overhauled by users. Smile The buttons on the right hand side are played out and need to be either removed or shrunk and move to the bottom right hand side of the screen.
