The support page, at www.lifelesssupport.com, is displaying a parked domain page.
It expired on the 21st of May.
Is Trel that busy that he even forgotten to renew the domain? _________________ 3.14159265358979323846264338327950288419716

I hate when that happens, it isn't always that your busy, you could just be absent minded sometimes like me, renewing my domains isn't exactly at the top of my priorities and I've forgotten to do so a few times. _________________ Tutorial Management Script - Version 1.4 Released

Maybe Trel is not interested anymore in the domain. I think it's not neccessary
But... I would like to know where support tickets can be submitted now _________________ http://martin.com.uy

Well, I'm really starting to get more and more worried about this. Trel hasn't been responding for a long while, he doesn't reply to support tickets, now some domains are expiring too?
I'm really afraid Trel abandoned Lifelesspeople :S _________________ My new site

He told me about 1 or 2 weeks ago that he was busy at work and with some personal problems... but nothing is going to happen with LifelessPeople except some changes (LP-burman posted some information).
If you want you can contact him by pm or mail but I don't know if he is going to reply or when _________________ http://martin.com.uy

I'm surprised that lifelesssupport.com lasted until the 21st. I haven't been able to access it for several months now, at least. Don't remember exactly when it was that I wanted to submit a support ticket, but it was when I first learned about L2Perfect, and wanted to switch over to that hosting because I don't use nearly as much as is given to me for L2Play.
I've sort of given up on support. _________________

Yeah, problem is that I want to donate money so my effin account doesn't close. Anyone want to donate to me or let me mooch for a month. I'm really sorry, but I don't have the time _________________

The lifelesssupport.com website was depreciated in favor of /support/. A website update to point to the new helpdesk and bringing the new helpdesk up should happen over the next couple of days.

You want /support/ and not support.lifelesspeople.com ? Maybe we could run a donation service on support.lifelesspeople.com for all those lifelesspeople out there that need our support. We could donate VSP to them. har har
Technically you still could get the domain back from the domain taster. I figure lifelesspeople has been a known brand for sometime now and you could push for the trademark brand rule that says they have to turn it over to you free of charge. This way you get it free for another year.

You have over 1000 VSP you could convert to RDP, that would already make you a part of the required amount. _________________ My new site

I did not lose the domain and I can recover it if I want to. This is mostly a cost saving measure.
Consider the following:
Case1: lifelessupport.com setup
Domain: lifelesssupport.com - $8.88
Private registration for lifelesssupport.com - $1.75
Domain: lifelessupport.com - $8.88
Private registration for lifelessupport.com - $1.75
SSL for lifelesssupport.com - $15.95
Domain: lifelesspeople.com - $8.88
Private registration for lifelesspeople.com - $1.75
SSL for lifelesspeople.com - $15.95
Total: $64.19
Case2: /support/ setup
Domain: lifelesspeople.com: $8.88
Private registration for lifelesspeople.com: $1.75
SSL for lifelesspeople.com: $15.95
Total: $26.58
Case3: support.lifelesspeople.com setup
Domain: lifelesspeople.com: $8.88
Private registration for lifelesspeople.com: $1.75
SSL for lifelesspeople.com: $15.95
SSL for support.lifelesspeople.com: $15.95
Total: $42.95
On top of these costs the license for the helpdesk software that powers the helpdesk is $170 per year. I've been able to reduce the costs in addition to the helpdesk software by $35.61 which adds to the L2P warchest.
Over the last few months I have been working to reduce overall costs to make L2P more efficient and to be able to make a blitz to bring the number of accounts back up.
Note: Due to this and other changes made since the lifelesssupport.com expired I have been able to make PBPP a bit easier to get. You should have started to notice this change as of about 12 - 24 hours ago. _________________ * Knowledge Base * Wiki * Forum FAQs * |

I agree with you Trel
A little question: Why don't you use a free or open source solution instead of paying the Helpdesk license? _________________ http://martin.com.uy

Kayako is the gold standard helpdesk software when dealing with webhosting (as far as I'm concerned). I'm a huge supporter of open source software, but I haven't found anything quite as good as Kayako. I will definitely be looking into alternatives before renewing the license next year, but that won't happen until next year. _________________ * Knowledge Base * Wiki * Forum FAQs * |
