In the control panel here at LLP I was wondering how to change the e-mail address that you check with horde/cube/squirrel mail. I have several accounts (admin@, rashy@, mail@ and so on) and it is loading into some default one without giving me the choice of which one I want to check. I can't tell which one it is checking either...
Thanks for your help _________________ Rashy! |

I never use that stuff, so i'm unsure how it works, but is it based upon cookies? And you may have saved the cookie to the default one which is why it keeps logging you into that one automatically? if so you might try clearing all the cookies for that.
I could be wrong.
Are you logging into it via Cpanel?
I remember that when i view the mail accounts in cpanel, it lets me click on the account there to check it. Maybe thats what you're doing, but its still taking you to default? _________________ http://www.damnidunno.com | http://www.mjhq.net | http://www.SnapCite.com |

Well I just had to (re) install ubuntu so there shouldn't be any cookies. I will go ahead and clear them anyway just in case. And yes, I am accessing it through Cpanel.
I just setup Thunderbird again (after not having it for a good two months due to switching OS) and it didn't download existing e-mails I had in my accounts (but it is receiving newly sent e-mails, and the outgoing server is working just fine). So an alternative is to get Thunderbird to download all the existing e-mails (I'm googling that right now though). I noticed it didn't download all the ones from Gmail either (only ~25), but it did get all 200+ of my school's e-mail (the only IMAP one...). So it has been interesting
Edit: And choosing "logout" only brings me back to Cpanel...
Edit #2: I figured it out.
1) http://lifelesspeople.com/forum/hosting.php > Hosting Links > Webmail.
2) With LLP servers Thunderbird deletes the message from the server after it is downloaded. Nobody has sent me an e-mail to that account since I last used Thunderbird. There were no e-mails on the account = I am dummy _________________ Rashy! |

| Rashy, to get your existing emails, simply copy the folders from the past installation of Thunderbird, maybe rename the names so they don't overwrite any new messages you got since. Or if you want to solve this at the root for future, don't let Thunderbird delete emails on the server after receiving them. This is also useful if you read your email from more than one location. |
