Did you mean an Apache option?
If so, try to add into your .htaccess file the following string.
Code:
Options +MultiViews

Please note the AllowOverride directive must be properly set on the server (i.e. you must be allowed to override that option in your .htaccess file), otherwise the code above will be ignored.
