Hi people! I’m a new buddy here at the forum. It's a pleasure to meet people from different countries (I’m Uruguayan). Francis Bacon used to say a man is but what he knoweth so here there are some drawings that I did some time ago based in my readings. I’m an amateur so I really want to know your opinions. Hope you like and enjoy them. Have fun!

It's really hard to say... I mean the pictures are really small, pixelated, and distorted. I think you need to work on getting some bigger versions of them on the internet; however, they both look pretty good atlhough i'm a little worried about the contrast. They seem very washed out (only one tone), except for maybe the head of the second creature... it seems a bit darker. I think they would look a lot better with some darker outlines, or just darker tones in certain places to really make the forms pop-out.

I really like those drawings. Although I have a few suggestions. Around the edge of the back of the second drawings' coating, I suggest you add much darker outlines. Also, the bottom of the second drawing, the ground, I suggest making it more viewable. What I mean is, like on drawings, some draw the ground (part of where its sitting) - I suggest making it more viewable. That's really all I can suggest. Possibly the same 'viewable suggestion' for the first one, but I'm unsure about that.

Ben.

I dont think you should make dark outlines becasue making dark outlines will make your drawing look almost fake and have a really cartoony look to it. I agree with mabye making some darker shades on the drawings to give them more depth and more of a real 3d look. Remember though if you are going to realism not to outline something at all. Let the shapes come together from the shapes of pencil.

Nice though.
