|
|
I'm looking for people to test this zip file for me and see if it is valid, it is not a very big download.
http://www.tutorialms.com/down.....lms1.3.zip
Some people are complaining that they are having trouble with unzipping this file, saying that WinZip tells them it is an invalid file.
I compressed it to a zip file on Linux, as I have done with all my other releases (and haven't had any problems) but now people are, so I would appreciate if people could see if it is a valid zip file to them and if not, some information such as OS and what they are using to extract it (WinZip, WinRar etc.) _________________ Tutorial Management Script - Version 1.4 Released

I had no problem extracting it on Windows Vista Home Premium with 7-Zip.
The included text files weren't formatted when opened with notepad although they were when opened with WordPad. _________________ Rashy! |

7-zip opens it just fine.
Perhaps you could offer a download in an alternative format for the people who have trouble opening the ZIP. _________________ Captain Jell-O Buster from the Future

| Fine with me. If some people have issues, make it into a different format. |

What did you use to zip it up with?
Anyway, fine on Linux / File Roller. |

I didn't use a program to do it, I just right clicked the folder, went to "Compress As" and chose .zip _________________ Tutorial Management Script - Version 1.4 Released

Windows XP + Winrar 3.71 opens it just fine and extracts it without a problem. So if those people have problems it won't be because of the .zip file _________________ .// Proud to be Lifeless for more then 4 years \\. |
