Netscape, I used it years ago. But to be honest, I don't like it much. Maybe it is because the time is wrong, that is between 2000 to 2005.
I am using IE for almost all the time, and Opera is an other option that I would like to choose. IE is nice, at lease I like it. And I agree it is really buggy, and would crash at any time without any warning.
As that standardization, that is great. It is good for everyone. The web builder would like it and so the internet users. That would be so cool! |

I don't usually like to be the one to promote Firefox, but I'm going to do it anyway. I think you should give Firefox a try if you already haven't. I'm forced to use IE7 at work and it's a pain in the butt. It kills me every time I use it...
Opera is a great browser too. I used to be pretty big on Opera for a while, but then I got back into Firefox when I switched to OS X because the Opera client for the mac was pretty bad. I think it's better now but it's kinda too late. I'll give Opera another try at their next major release. _________________ Come visit Shattered Abstracts! (Photoblog!) |

R.I.P. Netscape. You had a great run. Sorry your demise had to be so long and drawn out. We should have just pulled you off life support sooner. |
And don't forget the traffic lights for the "stop" button!

Same, I used Opera for a few weeks but went back to Firefox. Opera's addons and widgets seem to do enough of Firefox extensions' tasks but they are too restricted. Firefox's addons let you change and work with everything. Also, Opera can be annoying with its lock files, tab opening method when you open more than one tab in the background, amongst other issues. Maybe I needed more time with Opera. |

Heh, actually I find Opera to be much more customizable and "techie friendly" than Firefox is. Maybe that will change with the upcoming release of Firefox 3. _________________ Come visit Shattered Abstracts! (Photoblog!) |
