Hey there, well this is my new Portfolio my girlfriend says its a bit too girly but ohwell what do you think. Designed it all in Photoshop Cs2 and coded it all in notepad. Thanks to packagedeliverer and SR for helping me out with the email script.

Certainly not bad at all. The 'girly look' you mentioned may come from the choice of colour (particularly pink), but other than that there isn't anything I could really link to girls in specific.
Nice work. _________________ Captain Jell-O Buster from the Future

The design is fairly good because I tend to love one-page designs a lot now, especially for personal and portfolio sites. The colors are obviously very modern and are working fairly good. I don't think the pink is too girly at all (maybe because I actually wear pink a lot ). I think the main problem is your vectorized portrait. In my opinion it isn't done very good, so it's not matching the clean layout.
In terms of content: I think you should really develop your "why me?" section a bit more. What you are stating is fairly cliche and standard anyways. Try to talk about your attitude towards design and layout to spark more creativity in your words rather than technical aspects. _________________ The Gamer's Journal | Online Portfolio | Half-Life Library | UNDATA |

I find the design very impressive. It's hip, young and shows a nice attitude.
One thing though, It doesn't degrade too well when the window is resized, the portfolio images overlap the mailing form and it doesn't look good. I've only noticed that 'cause I always have my browser resized to about 70% of the screen (easier to read this way). In full size your site is awesome. _________________ Tarakana NET |

Thanks guys, and yeah drath some good advice, i think im going to change the why me section now.
marinaroz i know this, ive been thinking of ways to get round this. I might make smaller thumbnails that fit under eachotehr in 800x600 and in larger rez or window size they start to knock up n ext to eachother. Thanks alot

Ah yes, I didn't notice that. But seeing that also made me realize something else. I was also wondering about your placement of the contact form. Is there a reason it is offset so far under the contact tab? I mean, if you look at the featured work tab, the content bigins right under it, but the contact form doesn't. I'm not saying it's bad, just wondering why you did it like that, since I never seen it at first glance. _________________ The Gamer's Journal | Online Portfolio | Half-Life Library | UNDATA |

It just got placed liek that becuase the contect information next to it. I might bring down the contact mr header a little so its closer to it and about center to the contact information on the rigjt. cheers. _________________ JustMadMike Web Design Portfolio |

Sorry about the comment earlier regarding this. I was actually viewing your website with Opera before. Opera seems to push all the contact information down to about half-way through the first website image (I'm too lazy to make a screenshot ). But besides that, they render exactly the same. While on the subject: The weird thing is that IE7 also does the same thing except with the "About Me" section... it pushes it down half-way through the main logo. _________________ The Gamer's Journal | Online Portfolio | Half-Life Library | UNDATA |

I apologize for snooping in on your source, but I do have a question. Do you use ASCII code for characters on purposely? Or is it out of habit/software?
I'm just curious.
Its a pretty awesome design. I liked how you strayed away from the typical linear design (meaning: Not everything is a straight line). |
