Hey, so I like to draw and computer color stuff sometimes, and I decided to post something here. I'd appreciate any feedback and tips to help improve my work.

It's nothing much. I did a pencil sketch, and then I lined it in Paintshop Pro 10. [I don't have Photoshop.] And then a quick color. All in all, it took about 2-3 hours I think. I don't know how to do backgrounds yet. Embarassed

I hope you like it.

Wow, that's really impressive and detailed. Are you sure you did that with a pencil?

Drawing characters is not exactly my forte; I'm limited to landscapes and inanimate objects. Sad I'm green with envy of your artistry!

Oh, I meant I colored it in Paintshop Pro. Sorry if that wasn't clear. Embarassed

It actually looks great, the drawing is nice, and all the lines are neat and straight, and even the colors make the drawing shaded.

It's great, especially if it was just 2-3 hours of work Surprised

The linework is very good, the coloration and lighting is also very nice. You also get points for stylization, and adding some unique perspectives (don't listen to DAaron). Everything is very nice, especially for the time alloted, and for using Paint Shop Pro instead of Photoshop. The only weak point would have to be the face. His face is suffering from egyptian mixed perspective; in that, his face is profile, while the rest of his body is at a angle, and even skewed in space. I would like to see some more of the other side of his face.

The ribbons are a nice touch, but consider moving the left ribbon down and away from his hair to create a more dynamic composition, and to create less confusion and more breathing room for the two opposing elements (hair vs. ribbon). As it stands, on the first glance, I thought the ribbon was part of his hair, or maybe even a wing or something.

That looks really good. I wish I could turn my drawings into line art. I just cant seem to do it with Photoshop, they always come out jagged. Anyway, keep it up, the colors are wonderful. Very bright and vibrant.

It looks really good. i have no idea how people draw so good, and then color it in photoshop.

Good job.

I really like it, it looks good
I wish i could draw like that, my drawing is really bad. Whats funny is it didn't used to be (or so i think)

The only part of the image that looks out of place is the red coming from the weapons, mainly the one that goes up to the hair
